My name is Wojciech Nowak, and I am the founder of the SubTilia Vineyard. For most of my life, I worked as an engineer, but after many years, I decided to fulfill my dream based on my passion for wine and create something unique in this beautiful area that is Gniewoszyce. It is a tiny village located on the line of the Mużaków Arch, just twelve kilometers from the Brandenburg and Saxony border. It may not be easily accessible, but that’s precisely why it has its incredible charm and a unique atmosphere. Our vineyard offers not only a special ambiance but also cozy accommodation for our guests. On the vineyard’s premises, you will find a separate, atmospheric stone guest house that can accommodate four people. I have equipped it with everything you may need during your stay, such as a fully functional kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet, a fireplace, satellite television, and a radio. For the convenience of our guests, we have also provided a washing machine that can be used free of charge

SubTilia Vineyard is also a place where you can spend a pleasant time at our Quincho facility. It is the perfect spot for gatherings around the grill or enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. Additionally, we offer our guests the opportunity to rent four mountain bikes for an additional fee, so they can explore the nearby attractions and the beauty of nature.

Our entire property is fenced and monitored, ensuring the safety and security of our guests. Parking at the vineyard is free, and for those who love fresh vegetables and herbs, we have prepared an organic home garden from which they can harvest. It’s a perfect solution for those who want to enhance their meals with authentic flavors and spices.

Winnica SubTilia is also an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area. In the nearby village of Łęknica, you will find Park Mużakowski, the largest English landscape park in Europe, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO list. You can also visit the geotouristic trail “Dawna Kopalnia Babina,” leading through beautiful lakes with incredible colors. Another attraction is the Landscape Park Łuk Mużakowa, covering parts of five municipalities and offering unique geological features and cultural heritage of the Łużyce region.

From the vineyard, you can reach the following places by car:

  • Dresden – 1 hour and 50 minutes
  • Berlin – 2 hours
  • Wrocław – 2 hours and 15 minutes
  • Prague – 3 hours

If you enjoy shopping, make sure to visit the famous “Manhattan” bazaar in Łęknica. It’s a place where you can find many local products that are one-of-a-kind.

For enthusiasts of active leisure, we recommend organized kayak trips by an independent agritourism facility in Bronowice. There are also bathing areas and water reservoirs perfect for fishing in the vicinity. While walking around, you can encounter wildlife in its natural habitat.

We warmly invite you to visit our SubTilia Vineyard in Gniewoszyce. Come and experience the extraordinary attractions that await you in this beautiful area. It will be an unforgettable experience that you will undoubtedly want to repeat.
